Help build the business village small business owners are missing.
ASSEMBLE is an online community where Australian solo and small business owners can work alongside others, have useful conversations and build genuine relationships around the realities of running a business.
Community Partners help us keep membership accessible while supporting the spaces, sessions and member experiences that make it useful.
In return, your business receives clear, relevant visibility with a community of people who care about how they work, who they work with and the humans behind the business.
Community Partnerships start from $99 per month
This is a paid partnership – and we’ll be clear about that.
Your partnership helps fund ASSEMBLE.
In exchange, your business receives agreed visibility across selected ASSEMBLE channels.
Every partner placement is clearly identified as a paid Community Partnership. Payment does not buy an endorsement, a guaranteed recommendation or unrestricted access to members.
That distinction protects everyone involved:
- members know when a business has paid for visibility
- partners know exactly what their investment includes
- our facilitators remain free to make independent recommendations based on a person’s specific needs
- ASSEMBLE can accept commercial support without quietly turning trust into advertising inventory
The aim is a transparent exchange that creates value without pretending money was not involved.
Why partner with Us
Reach people through relevance – not louder advertising.
ASSEMBLE members are Australian solo and small business owners building businesses around finite time, capacity and resources.
They may be looking for:
- practical business services
- trusted professional advice
- better tools and technology
- support for their health, capacity or working life
- service providers who understand small business
- useful education and resources
- businesses whose values are visible in how they operate
A Community Partnership allows your business to become familiar in the places members already use to find support and recommendations.
That does not mean posting the same sales message every month.
It means giving members enough clear, useful information to understand:
- who you help
- what problem you solve
- what makes your approach relevant
- when it would make sense to contact you
Familiarity can support trust. The quality of your work and the member’s individual fit must do the rest.
One straightforward partnership
Every partnership helps us keep ASSEMBLE accessible for our members while introducing them to businesses we genuinely believe they’ll value.
Monthly
Three-month initial commitmentYour partnership includes:
- a listing in the public ASSEMBLE Community Partner directory
- your logo, business description, website link and primary contact pathway
- a clear explanation of who you help and when members should consider contacting you
- one member offer, resource or useful bonus displayed with your partner listing, if you choose to provide one
- an introduction inside the private ASSEMBLE community when the partnership begins
- inclusion in a periodic Community Partner round-up shared with ASSEMBLE members
- the opportunity to submit relevant resources, educational ideas or member opportunities for editorial consideration
- acknowledgement as a business helping keep ASSEMBLE accessible
- Every inclusion remains subject to relevance, timing, community guidelines and available space.
Annual
Twelve months for the price of ten.Annual partners receive the same defined partnership inclusions for a full year. The annual option does not add labour-heavy deliverables simply to make the package look bigger.
- If a workshop, event, co-created resource or larger campaign makes sense, it can be scoped separately around the value, preparation and promotion involved.
What is not included
Partnership does not buy automatic access to the community.
A Community Partnership does not include:
- ASSEMBLE membership
- access to the private member list or member data
- permission to add members to your mailing list
- unsolicited private messages or sales contact
- automatic recommendations from facilitators
- a review or testimonial for a product facilitators have not personally used
- guaranteed referrals, enquiries, sales or website traffic
- industry or category exclusivity
- editorial control over ASSEMBLE content or conversations
- a guaranteed monthly social media post
- a guaranteed newsletter feature every month
- a guest workshop, speaking session or co-created resource as part of the standard fee
Partners who also want to participate as business owners inside ASSEMBLE are welcome to purchase a separate membership and follow the same community expectations as every other member.
Who we want to partner with
Useful businesses run by decent humans.
You do not need to fit one narrow category.
You do need to offer something genuinely relevant to Australian solo and small business owners and operate in a way that respects them.
Potential partners may include:
- accountants and bookkeepers
- legal, HR, insurance and financial professionals
- business support providers
- accessibility and inclusion specialists
- technology platforms and practical digital tools
- designers and creative professionals
- health, wellbeing and capacity-support services
- educators, facilitators and business communities
- coworking, events and professional development providers
- products or services that make independent working life more workable
Applications are considered against:
- relevance to ASSEMBLE members
- clarity and accuracy of the business’s claims
- professional credentials where applicable
- customer experience and reputation
- pricing transparency
- alignment with the community’s people-first and capacity-conscious approach
- willingness to respect member privacy and promotional boundaries
- the overall mix of partners already represented
There may be more than one partner from a profession or service category. ASSEMBLE is built around fit and collaboration, not category ownership.
Who we will not partner with
Protecting member trust comes first.
ASSEMBLE is unlikely to accept partnerships from businesses that:
- rely on multi-level marketing or recruitment-based selling
- use aggressive, manipulative or high-pressure sales tactics
- make unrealistic income, health, productivity or business-growth claims
- encourage people to work beyond their health, financial or personal capacity
- hide material fees, commissions or commercial relationships
- sell unqualified legal, financial, health or psychological advice
- have a pattern of unresolved customer complaints or misleading promotion
- expect access to members’ details or permission to contact them directly
- want the facilitators to recommend a service they cannot honestly stand behind
- conflict materially with the safety, trust or purpose of the community
Paying the partnership fee does not override the application process. ASSEMBLE may decline or end a partnership that no longer fits the community.
PARTNERSHIP FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What does my partnership support?
ASSEMBLE is an online village for Australian solo and small business owners who want people to work, think and build alongside.
Members have access to:
- co-working sessions
- monthly facilitated business conversations
- quarterly planning sessions
- a private community space
- a member directory
- useful replays and resources
- relationships with other business owners who understand the realities behind the work
Community Partners help keep the membership accessible while contributing to the tools, facilitation and experiences that make those connections possible.
I'd like to support the community without promoting my business. Can I be a silent sponsor?
Absolutely.
Some businesses simply believe in what we’re building and want to help keep ASSEMBLE accessible without promoting themselves.
If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.
Do I need to be an ASSEMBLE member?
No. Partnership does not require membership and does not include access to the private community. If you also want to participate as a business owner, you can purchase a separate membership.
Why is there a three month initial commitment?
Useful visibility requires more than one mention. Three months gives the community enough time to understand who you are while covering the work required to assess, onboard and publish a new partner.
Can I partner for one month?
The standard partnership begins with a three- month commitment. A one-off event, resource or campaign may be considered separately if it has a clear fit and sufficient lead time.
Can I offer members a discount or bonus?
Yes, provided the offer is genuine, accurately described and relevant. Any conditions, expiry dates or eligibility requirements must be clear.
Can I run a workshop inside the community?
You can propose a practical, non-sales-led session. Acceptance is not guaranteed and any preparation, delivery or promotional arrangement will be agreed and scoped separately.
Do partners receive member contact details?
No. Member information is not provided to partners. Members decide whether to contact you through the link shown in your listing or an appropriately facilitated introduction.
Can I promote inside the private community?
Only through the agreed partnership placements or the standard member channels if you separately join HQ. Unsolicited promotion and direct-message selling are not permitted.
Are there category limits?
There is no promise of exclusivity. However, applications may be paused if too many current partners serve essentially the same need and further listings would reduce usefulness for members.
How is sponsored content identified?
Paid placements will use clear wording such as “Paid Community Partner” or “Sponsored”, rather than vague labels that could make the commercial relationship difficult to recognise.
Can ASSEMBLE end a partnership?
Yes. The written partnership terms explain notice, refunds and the circumstances in which a partnership may be ended immediately, including serious conduct, misleading promotion or breaches of member privacy.
Support a community without turning it into an advertising feed.
If your business genuinely helps Australian solo and small business owners – and you value transparent promotion, useful relationships and respecting the people behind the work – we’d like to hear from you.
