Support. Connect. Assemble.
I help Australian small business owners work out what support they actually need – and then help them get it, without it costing them themselves.
Behind that statement is more than twenty years across operations, team coordination, events, project work, and business leadership – supporting people in government, retail, small business, community organisations, and the online world. I’ve built the systems, run the projects, steadied the teams, and held the things that keep a business moving.
I’ve also learned, from the inside, what makes support genuinely work – and what makes it fall apart. That’s the part most people miss, and it’s the part I’m best at.
If you’re weighing up whether I’m the right person to trust with something that matters, that’s fair.
One thing I’ll own up front: I love people-centred work — coordinating teams, planning events, connecting people, being the bridge. That’s where I shine.
I don’t love content creation, social media, or copywriting – so why pretend that I do?
I’ve been on both sides of the table
Most people in business support have been the business owner, or the support professional. I’ve been both.
I know what it’s like to show up as the support person – capable and professional – and still end up in a relationship that didn’t work, because the foundations were never set before it began. I also know what it’s like to be the owner trying to hand things over: the worry about what’s safe to delegate, the guilt, the frustration when it doesn’t land like I imagined, and the creeping sense that you’re just bad at doing *this*.
(You’re almost certainly not. Often the setup is the problem, and that’s where I come in.)
What Shaped How I Work
Defence life taught me to work inside real constraints. Moving often, solo parenting through deployments, running a business without a village. It taught me to hold steady under pressure, find solutions quick-smart, and design operations that work even in unpredictable seasons.
Burnout taught me to respect capacity. Working through illness, solo parenting, and overcommitting to clients, I hit a wall that forced everything to stop. That’s why I teach capacity the way I do. The calendar is not your capacity. Life is.
Small business is in my DNA. I grew up watching my parents run their own businesses – the chaos, the long hours, the determination it takes. I’ve felt that pressure from the inside, and I understand what it means to care deeply about the people you serve.
I literally have the small business gene.
And supporting people is simply my instinct. My work isn’t only systems and operations – it’s seeing people. Hearing what they’re not saying. Helping them untangle their thoughts. Offering the perspective that shifts everything. Bringing compassion with boundaries, and steadiness when it all feels like too much.
All of it points to one belief: success should never cost your wellbeing – and even the most capable founders deserve support built on ethics, clarity, and genuine human care.
Capacity-first. Before we talk about what to build, we look at what you can hold. The services, the team, the goals – all of it has to fit the real life you’re living, not the one you’ll have once things calm down.
Both sides of the relationship. I look after my network of support professionals as much as I serve my clients. If a business isn’t ready to receive support properly, I’ll say so – putting the wrong person into a broken setup helps no one.
Within my own capacity. I keep set hours and clear boundaries, without apology. A business built on ignoring capacity isn’t one I could teach from.
